8th October 2006 Windsurfing: Aberdyfi Wind Direction: S/SE Wind Stength: 10-20 knts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Went for a quick session to Dyfi. Not too much wind as I arrived but down at the end of the channel the kites were up so walked over to check it out, a bit more wind out there so rigged up. Went for a 6.4m and drifted down the channel. Not enough really when I got down there so hung around and slogged about for a while. But then it filled in nicely and had a decent session blasting up and down the main channel. Bit shallow in places but only managed one full powered blast into a sand bank. Pulled off a nice strap to strap today which was good and more gybe practice, getting better.... Wind dropped off later as the rain arrived and had a bit of a slog back in. So not great but good enough to be worthwhile. |
